January 2010 we took a leap of faith and opened our kitchen’s doors to the community inspired by the flavors of our hometown. We were the first to serve Nuevo Progreso, Mx - style lonches in the US, and have been serving them with a side of Mexican Cultura ever since! Our restaurant started with my husband in the kitchen, myself as the cashier/waitress and an 8 table dining room. Thanks to the support of our RGV community over the past 12 years we have been able to slowly grow and nurture our business. Eventually we transformed our home into the restaurant and have been working to add to the Nana’s experience ever since.
Our mission is to share the vibrance and joy of our heritage one taco at a time! We believe everyday is a celebration. We are driven by our love for spreading our Mexican culture in an authentic way with our community.
